When John Ashbery (subsequently regarded as one of America's greatest living poets) met Warhol in Paris in spring 1965, he was an art critic and reviewed the Flowers show. Via Gerard Malanga, a party was staged for him at the Factory, and he was the subject of a Screen Test.
