Poet Ted Berrigan began publishing C magazine in 1963, a part of the mimeograph little magazine revolution. He came into contact with Warhol via Gerard Malanga, and Warhol made the controversial covers for the special Edwin Denby issue, featuring Denby and Malanga kissing.
