Rene Rivera was a Puerto Rican postal worker discovered by Jack Smith in 1961 as a subject in his photographs, and soon in his movies (appearing under the name of Dolores Flores in Flaming Creatures, and first using the name Mario Montez, in Normal Love). He appeared in several Factory films, including Harlot, Mario Banana, and The Chelsea Girls.
