Stephen Shore was a budding 16 year old photographer when he came to the Factorty in April 1965 and asked Warhol if he could come and shoot photographs. He did so for the next 2 years, and his photographs were published as The Velvet Years. Shore's subsequent career is distinguished, including solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum, as well as several books.
